 CinemaTech’s beauty is not just skin-deep. Inside each Act I recliner is a German engineered steel chassis – just like what you’d find under a fine European sedan accelerating down the Autobahn. With a seating platform that is produced from rolled steel constructed of two offset tiers of sinuous, hand assembled wire springs; you will enjoy a lifetime of responsive support and durability. Other support features include a spring-tensioned webbing support system and a reinforced tubular seat and back suspension frame. Hand-tied springs minimize “reflection” or bounce, while maximizing support and comfort. To ensure proper placement, each coil is hand-tied to the others during the manufacturing process. This assures long-term resilience.
 Planning your next movie marathon? An ultra-plush, two-pound density foam and a down-feather mixture cushion is sewn and wrapped in a pocketed fiber blanket creating luxurious comfort. The soft edges and fiber rolls in the contoured arms then create a tailored silhouette, while insulation with non-woven fiber pads add softness and contour shape for long-lasting beauty.

 CinemaTech created the motorized theater seating market and the amazing comfort and luxury it affords. There is no need to settle for only a few choices of reclining positions when CinemaTech's 24 volt, 2 amp motor can effortlessly and quietly find the ideal comfort adjustment for your body. Our patented “LUSCH” motor drive and reclining mechanisms feature engineered bushings on pivot points for durability and smooth operation. This motorized mechanism combination is available on our entire line of Act I recliners.
CinemaTech’s also has a full-steel, motorized incliner mechanism, the 354 “Zero Wall Incliner”. The Zero Wall Incliner has redefineThis mechanism allows the movie viewer to slide forward to a fully inclined position, while the chair itself sits virtually against a wall. CinemaTech also offers a Pneumatic Recliner Mechanism (PRM) as a standard feature on all Act I series recliner models. This gas cylinder technology makes conventional spring tension systems obsolete by providing super smooth operation and infinite lockable reclining positions.
To operate this system, the movie watcher holds on tightly to his chair arms and pushes his lower torso back horizontally, which raises the footrest. Then, by simply pulling up on the soft leather loop conveniently located between the seat and arm, the gas cylinder is then disengaged to begin reclining. Once the perfect position is established, he then stabilizes the reclining position by releasing the loop.
