1. Initial Sales Meeting
Client shows interest in a complete custom home theater to a CinemaTech Authorized Dealer. At that time the Authorized CinemaTech Dealer collect as much information from the client as possible (i.e. floor plan/dimensions, theater style/look, budget, color scheme, seating, etc.). To locate a Authorized CinemaTech Dealer near you please call our professional sales team at 1-800-688-6680 or Click Here.
2. Initial Design Meeting
Your local Authorized CinemaTech Dealer then contacts CinemaTech's professional design team and discusses the information collected from the client. According to how much information has already been collected, the process will either move to step 3 or CinemaTech or CinemaTech's Authorized Dealer will contact the client once more for further information about the design.
3. Estimate
After the CinemaTech Design Department is satisfied with the information collected from the client, an estimate for the client's ideal theater will be provided usually supported with photographs, elevations, and/or floor plans.
4. Contract
Once the estimate is accepted, a contract is produced from CinemaTech to the Authorized CinemaTech Dealer. Once CinemaTech has received all necessary documents (i.e. terms and conditions, contract, etc.) as well as a deposit and/or retainer fee, the order then becomes official.
5. Design Development
CinemaTech's engineered designs have been created so that each design can be custom fit within the interior of any room. CinemaTech's Design Department will work with the CinemaTech Authorized Dealer and client to begin production of color scheme as well as preliminary design drawings. After the client is satisfied with the materials selected, CinemaTech will produce a full color board and color selection form for Authorized Dealer to present to their client for approval.
6. Construction Documents
After the preliminary design is accepted by the client and dimensions of the existing room are provided (by the Authorized CinemaTech Dealer), CinemaTech's Design Team will begin to generate the construction documents for the general contractor. Documents will include all structural elements that need to be built, all the way down to the finished surface, including but not limited to the electrical plan, lighting plan, paint schemes, etc. Because of the many intricate details our theaters contain, all of our team members work very closely with the general contractor to ensure the proper completion of your custom home theater.
7. Final Measure
After the construction of the room has been completed by the general contractor, a CinemaTech Lead Designer will visit the site to take final measurements. (This is always performed prior to the manufacturing of the room's design elements to ensure that the construction has been completed to CinemaTech's specifications.) Final design approval check of room build out by the general contractor will be preformed at this time by the CinemaTech Lead Designer.
8. Installation Plans
Once installation plans have been completed, both the Authorized CinemaTech Dealer and the client will sign-off on these plans. CinemaTech's Manufacturing Department will now receive the build order to begin the production of the design materials for the theater.
9. Manufacturing
Complete and final production of all design materials are performed on elements that do not allow CinemaTech's installation team to effectively and quickly adjust on the job site during installation. **Note - All of CinemaTech's ARS acoustical room treatment components are never pre-cut prior to job site arrival. This remarkable ARS system allows CinemaTech's installation team to quickly and accurately build and cut components to fit exactly in the physical parameters of the room on site.
Throughout the construction process, CinemaTech "stages" (builds) your theater to ensure overall component compatibility. After each "stage", a quality control (QC) specialist meticulously inspects the materials to verify that the production meets or exceeds CinemaTech's stringent quality benchmarks. If the in-production materials are outside tolerance guidelines, the material at hand will be re-manufactured.
10. Shipping
Quality packing tactics and preferred shipping vendors help reduce freight damage that can cause delays in installation times.
11. Installation
This is almost always performed by CinemaTech's professional installation team to ensure the highest level of workmanship possible. Our highly experienced installation team will install and average of over 150 theater each year. The experienced craftsmanship and effective communication of our installation team help to minimize installation time and ensure the highest quality and attention to detail possible.
12. Installation Sign-Off
Once the installation is completed an installation sign-off will be performed by the CinemaTech Authorized Dealer and the client to insure the complete satisfaction of the design elements installed. This is always the most exciting step!
